Continuing its efforts to promote EO services supporting Environment Monitoring for the Banking sector, LuxSpace supports ESA in the implementation of EO-based services for the World Bank. 

After analysis of information requirements expressed by the World Bank's sectoral experts, LuxSpace specifies the services in close collaboration with ESA and organizes their service procurement. LuxSpace will closely follow up the project implementation to ensure quality of the products and services delivered. The results of the services, their cost and benefits will be discussed with the users to assess the utility of the products and services.

Luxspace intends to place a sub-contract for the service on Historical land motion monitoring in the city of Tunis (Tunisia) with a specialized service provider or consortium that will be selected after a transparent evaluation procedure.
 
A "Request For Quotation" to procure the service has been published on 23rd of March 2010.  The deadline for submission of offers is on Tuesday, 6th of April 2010 13:00 h (Central European Summer Time).
