LUXSPACE (L), a subsidiary of OHB (D) is offering system consultancy, engineering and integration services as well as related R&D to national and international Customers.

For the development of On Board Data Handling (OBDH) systems, LUXSPACE is recruiting for immediate employment an OBDH engineer.

 

Job Profile: 

Experience in embedded software and basic electronic knowledge is required to participate in design of satellite units and ground-based equipment. Projects involve LUXSPACE micro satellites up to commercial satellite projects within an international consortium.

 

Required skills and tasks to be performed:

• Elaboration of requirement specifications
• Design, development and testing of On Board Software
• Specifications of On Board Data Handling Systems
• Review of design documentation from external suppliers
• Provision of design documentation like: Technical Notes, Design Description, Worst Case Analysis etc.
• Test planning and participation at different levels
• Support to other Subsystem and Ground Segment Engineering

 

Candidate Profile and Qualities:

• Good English skills (spoken and written)
• Experienced in embedded software (C, Assembler)
• Knowledge of digital electronics (microprocessors, memories etc.)
• Basic knowledge of analog circuits and RF
• Ability to work and interface with a multinational team
• Methodical work-approach
• Willingness to travel
• Taking responsibility and being proactive
• Work permit: EU nationality or Luxembourg work permit mandatory
